What We Believe
We believe with all Christians everywhere that:
- God is the creator of heaven and earth
- that Jesus is the word of God in the flesh
- that the Holy Spirit is God's presence in our hearts
- that the church of Jesus Christ exists for all people
- that we experience Christ's presence with us in worship
- that no sin is beyond forgiveness
- that God reclaims us beyond death in the resurrection
- that we receive life eternal
We are Methodists who follow the teachings of John Wesley who taught us:
- that Holy Scripture is the primary source of our belief
- that God's love surrounds all of us all the time
- that God is always reaching out to us through Christ for our transformation
- that through God's Holy Spirit we continue to grow in faith and love of God and neighbor
- that God's grace calls us to engage the world in mission and service
