United Methodist Women
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
At Faith United Methodist Church we have a very active women’s Group that meets monthly on the second Sunday of the month at 8:00 a.m. We gather for breakfast, fellowship and for planning of our mission activities. We consider all women of Faith UMC members and invite you to join us in reaching out to God’s children everywhere.
These are a few of the ways the United Methodist Women at Faith United Methodist are currently reaching out in missions to the community. Bi-monthly we prepare a meal for the children and staff of Nancy K. Perry. We support SisterCare of Columbia and Killingsworth Home for Women in their efforts on behalf of battered women. We support Salkehatchie Summer Service for youth, Epworth’s Children’s home, The Bethlehem Center and the rural mission at John’s Island.
New members are always welcome to join us. Please contact the Church office.
